Getting Down to Business: How I Start a Project

You know what you want, but maybe you’re not quite sure how to get there. Our business focus is on your brand in the digital space, and how that brand translates offline. Whether brand development or redevelopment, social campaigns and engagement strategies, or a full blown marketing suite; our goal is to get your brand where it needs to be to help your business see successful growth.

Look, I get it. When you have a project in mind, it’s tough trying to pick the right person for the job unless you already have an established relationship. That’s why I’d like to tell you a bit about our process at Pari Creative House, and what working with me will look like from start to finish.

  1. Discovery Meeting
This is generally a 30-45 minute meeting over coffee at a destination of your choice. Why do I let you choose? Because I want you to feel comfortable, and it helps me to get to know you better! And let’s be honest, I’ll drink coffee just about anywhere. (Ha!) This is where we speak about the scope of your project, a timeline and/or specific deadlines you want met, and I’ll provide you some information about the cost of acquiring my services.
  2. Follow-up Email
After we’ve met, I’ll write you up a quick meeting summary as well as an estimate based on our initial meeting. You may also receive a project proposal, depending on if you know exactly what you want or if you need some guidance to accomplish your goals.
  3. Green Light
This part is up to you. We are never going to pressure you into a decision, but I will touch base with you to ensure you have all your questions answered so as to make a decision you feel is best for your business. If you’re ready, let’s begin!
If you’re not ready, we can put a pin in our discussion. And hey, I’ll be honest - I know what we can offer may not for everyone. And you know what? That’s ok. I’m always pleased when I have an opportunity to meet new people and expand my network.
  4. Getting Down to Business
Once you’ve green lighted our project, we'll lay out some milestones in a project management software we use, working from our projected end date backwards. What else can you expect?
    • Professional delivery every time. Whether we need something from you, or you want something from me, expect realistic expectations we can both agree on. One thing you’ll learn about us is we'll always be very straightforward about our collaboration. We want to ensure we're meeting your expectations, and we'll let you know what we need from you to be able to make our project a success.
    • Project status updates via email. You shouldn’t be kept in the dark on whether your vision is coming to life and if the project is on track. We’ll be open with you about our deadlines, rare hiccups if there happen to be any, and what we need from you to complete this to your satisfaction. After all, we’re in this together.
    • An open channel of communication, in whatever method you are the most comfortable with. Whether by phone, email, or text message, I’m here for you personally. (Heck, I’ve had a client FaceTime me from their holiday. Actually! Whatever works for you works for us.) Got a million questions? I’ve got a million answers. Please, please, please do not be afraid to ask. I’d much rather you ask than feel anxious or left wondering. This is my company and I want you to be satisfied beyond expectations.
  5. Wrap-Up Meeting
At this point, we're ready to make a final presentation to you regarding the successful completion of the project. We’ll go through all the goals set out in our initial project scope, ensuring each one is completed to your satisfaction.
If we’ve started out on a monthly retainer (Yes! We do that!), this is when we’ll have our monthly strategy meeting. We’ll review your goals and data from the previous month, see what’s achievable for the next month, and have a few laughs over a cup of java / your beverage of choice.
  6. Feedback
I truly believe that you’re more likely to refer someone to a business if you’ve either built a personal relationship with them, or you’ve procured their services directly. That’s why I may ask you for feedback on how Pari Creative House can improve our processes, or for a testimonial on the project. I may even ask if we can share your testimonial on our website, as I have with others I've worked with.

I hope this has provided you with some insight into our approach with building relationships and successful projects with our clients at Pari Creative House. If you’re ready to get started, get in touch! Let’s meet up and get down to business.
